“The Emperor” delves into the systems humanity has created, unseen forces that once existed to serve us but have now turned against us. It examines the mechanisms that govern our lives, dictating our choices like invisible laws, and reflects on how these systems consolidate power to maintain dominance.

Composed entirely of industrially produced objects, each element represents an aspect of subjugation, from physical restraint to emotional exhaustion. In doing so, the work exposes the dehumanizing effects of systemic power dynamics, illustrating how individuals are rendered powerless within frameworks designed to exploit and control.
