‘human resources’ delivers a piercing critique of humanity's insatiable ambition to conquer nature, viewing it merely as a resource to be exploited and controlled. It lays bare the deeply ingrained human impulse to subdue, destroy, and extract from the natural world, treating it as property to be owned. At its core, the artwork poses a haunting question: how does this attitude of dominance distort our relationship with the environment, and what profound doubts does it raise about our interactions with one another?

In this striking depiction, humans are cast as unquestioned rulers over the earth and its treasures. Yet this posture of superiority is not celebrated but intensely scrutinized. The piece compels us to confront the catastrophic consequences of such a mindset: environmental ruin, relentless resource exploitation, and a relentless quest for progress that threatens to push the planet to its breaking point.

Simultaneously, the work interrogates how we manage our own human resources—our potential, skills, and creativity. How do we harness the immense capabilities at our disposal? Instead of channeling these talents toward the common good, we frequently weaponize them, sparking conflict and waging war against one another. Humanity seems intent not only on dominating nature but also on subjugating itself through power struggles, competition, and an unyielding drive for supremacy.
