‘Hide and Seek’ addresses the ambivalence between protection and threat, engaging with themes of police brutality, anonymity, and the instrumentalization of violence. Emerging from an exploration of power structures, the work probes societal debates on violence exercised in the name of authority, questioning the roles of individuality and accountability within state power.
Constructed from climbing stones, acrylic glass, screws, a monitor mount, and frosted privacy film, the piece assembles these materials into a sculptural installation that forms a symbolic barrier.
‘Veil’ urges reflection on the tension between personal responsibility and the impersonal nature of institutional force.
