SOUND INSTALLATION
‘a_f(r)ailed’ examines how sound, as a response to structural violence, becomes a rhetoric of self-weaponization. The sound installation addresses dehumanization through mechanical processes and the tension between visibility and protection. It uses low-frequency vibrations, metallic friction, and cut voice fragments in short, repeating loops. “Light” functions as a marker. The composition conveys bodily pressure, control, and exhaustion, making forms of self-assertion audible.
